Ok, so we're about a week out from my epiphany that my son has followed in my footsteps with asthma. We've been to the doctor and obtained an inhaler and we are scheduled for a pulmonary lung test on Wednesday. Tonight we broke out the inhaler to test it out. Cross country is over (can you say "a day late and a dollar short"?) but Brady and I are determined to keep up the running. So, we taught him how to do the inhaler and off we went. Brady claims he has been getting instantly tired and out of breath when running. Tonight we took off and I thought to myself "Hmm... we're running at a pretty fast clip, no wonder he gets tired". I expected him to turn to me and slow it down. He didn't. He smoked me!
I couldn't be more happy to come in last! Love it!

Is this in anticipation of the 5K at Berry in March??? Surely you'll be doing that...and Brady, too! Richard and I are not able to do any running right now. My SI joint is messed up and has been for a month, now, and Richard's still in recovery mode, too. So, it will be like starting over whenever we get back to running! I don't look forward to building up that stamina again! Go run for both of us!!!!!
I'm planning to do the 5K and Scot has even jumped on the bandwagon! Last night Brady expressed interest as well since he could actually breathe. Although, if last night is any indication, he will be far ahead of the rest of us...
Sorry to hear about you and Richard. I'm glad he's feeling better. What happened to your joint? How did it get messed up?
