The First Day of School!

It's the first day of school! I now have a 5th grader, a 2nd grader, and a Kindergartener! Wow! Am I really that old???

Overall, the first day has gone very well so far.

Leah skipped right into her class and didn't look back (sob!). She even wiped my kiss off as she was going in. I shouldn't be surprised as I had to beg her to leave last night. She wanted to stay. Ah, the thrill of Mrs. Niedrach's class. There is no other like it.

Christian decided not to ride the bus today and so he rode with me to school. He happily went in his class and began working.

And then there was Brady. He rode the bus and then when I came into his class to take pictures, he refused to look at me. I was embarassing him. Normally, I would care about that, but not today. I just kept taking pictures. But I wanted to explain why he's looking away.

Brady's class seems huge to me this year. I know he's going to thrive!

Brady and Lawson are sitting at the table in the middle. I don't why...

That's all for now. Today is a half day and then we have a school pool party tonight. More pictures to come...
